Join Valentina on Thursday 22nd of October at 6.30pm - 8.30pm for five beautiful wines, the stories behind them and a warm Greek welcome.
Together, we’ll taste four wines from across Greece, made with native grape varieties and personally selected from independent producers and award-winning wineries.
Think you know Greek wine? I’d love to change your mind. We’ll explore ancient winemaking traditions given new life, the landscapes these wines come from, and the people shaping Greek wine today. And if you think you know retsina, prepare to be surprised.
This is a guided but relaxed tasting, with plenty of time for questions and conversation. Come with friends or on your own — you’ll be warmly welcomed either way.
Each wine will be paired with a mezedaki (a small Greek meze bite). A Wee Taste will also have an optional food menu available to order during and after the tasting.
About your host
Valentina is an Edinburgh-born sommelier with Greek roots and experience in hospitality, fine dining and wine across Edinburgh, London and Greece such as Four Seasons Athens & Oma London. She created Greek Wine Collective to share the wines, people and places she loves, with Greek hospitality at the heart of every evening.
